Baklava
A rich, sweet pastry made with layers of phyllo, chopped walnuts, butter, and spices…then baked to perfection and covered with a honey syrup. Shown below, left.

Paximadia
A twice-baked Greek cookie, similar to biscotti, low in sugar, and delicious dunked in tea or coffee!

Melomakarona (Finikia)
A traditional spice cookie dipped in honey syrup then sprinkled with chopped walnuts and cinnamon. Shown above.

Koulourakia
Butter cookie twists, a perfect complement to hot beverages.

Kourambiethes
Delicate butter cookies generously dusted with powdered sugar.

Ravani
Greek cake made with farina and a touch of lemon, sweetened with a simple syrup.

Loukoumades
These mouth-watering, doughnut puffs are deep fried while you wait, then drizzled with honey syrup, and sprinkled with chopped walnuts and cinnamon. Served piping hot! Shown below, right.
